Healthcare management executive Robert Jacobs joined TAN Healthcare as Chief Operating Officer, CEO Dena Hughes announced on January 15, 2019. TAN Healthcare (Triangle Area Network) is a growing not-for-profit primary health center with locations in Beaumont, Orange and mobile sites throughout the region.
“Robert Jacobs brings extensive health care management experience to our team,” said Hughes. “As a long-time health care executive, his experience with strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and operational processes will benefit TAN as we expand services and deliver on our mission of serving the health needs of individuals and families in our area. His extensive knowledge in healthcare information technology will be a key asset as TAN continues to explore and implement high tech ways to better serve our patients and clients.”
Jacobs previously served over 18 years as the Regional Vice President of Information Technology for CHRISTUS Health South East Texas and Gulf Coast Regions in Beaumont and Houston, Regional Information Management Executive for CHRISTUS Health St. Michael in Texarkana, and Chief Information Officer for CHRISTUS Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
Jacobs earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Lamar University. Active in the local community, Jacobs just completed his tenure as the 2018 president of the Young Men’s Business League, which sponsors the South Texas State Fair.
